Thank you to everyone who supported this worthwhile fundraiser and to the Parents’ Association for arranging it.
We raised an amazing €539 for Children’s Health Ireland and they really appreciated everyone’s contribution.

From the funds raised at the Tree Lighting Ceremony we donated €300 to LauraLynn
Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday 5th December 2024
The Parents’ Association held a Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday 5th December 2024 from 6.30pm to 8pm. Fr. Wojciech blessed the Christmas tree before it was officially turned on. All the children sang Hymns and Carols around the tree after a visit from Santa who just happened to be passing the school. Then everyone enjoyed cakes, hot chocolates, teas, coffees and a Christmas Raffle in the hall. Thank you to everyone who made this a most enjoyable and successful event.
Family Fun Day 14th September 2024
On Saturday 14th September, the Parents’ Association organised a Family Fun Day at the school. This was well attended by the local community including our current cohort of pupils, parents, school staff, grandparents and those who had attended Kiltale NS in previous years. It was also lovely to meet with those parents and past pupils who shared their positive and happy memories of their time in Kiltale NS.
It was great fun and everyone enjoyed the day. Many thanks for making this event a success!
Thank you to everyone who baked, donated books and toys, bought lines in the raffle, etc. and supported us on the day.
We would especially like to thank all the companies and individuals who donated prizes for our raffle. Without their generous donations, we could not have held such a successful event.
We raised an amazing €2,895 which will be used to support teaching and learning in our school. Thank you also to James McMahon and St. John Solicitors for their donation of a Defibrillator to the school and community amounting to €1,413. We are in the process of setting up the defibrillator. We will let you know when this has been completed and is ready for use. It is very important that everyone knows where their nearest defibrillator is located.

Parents Association Fundraiser March 2023
Our biggest fundraiser of the year will be a Table Quiz that will be held on 3rd March at 8pm in Kiltale GAA clubhouse. The event will be MC’d by John Donoghue with cash prizes up for grabs.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible to support the event so please pop the date into your diaries!! All funds raised will go directly to the school to the benefit of all pupils.
On the night, we will be holding a raffle. Main prizes will include a voucher for a night in a hotel, a family day pass for Emerald Park, a Gala fuel voucher and a voucher for a makeup artist. We desperately need more donations, prizes big or small are very welcome. These may include:
● Vouchers for goods or services
● Gift sets
● Wine
● Hampers
● Chocolates/Boxes of biscuits etc
Any donations can be brought to the school before 24th February.
