Here in Kiltale NS we started renewing our Active Flag in school year 2024/25.
The Active School Flag (ASF) initiative provides schools with a framework to guide, support and incentivise them to work towards achieving a physically educated and physically active school community.
We are following this Active School Events 2024-25 planner.
Our Active Schools Committee for 2024/25 are
Our 3rd to 6th Class pupils took part in a Golf taster on the 18th December 2024.
In October the pupils suggested lots of slogans for our school.
The pupils voted for our winning slogan:
Eat, Sleep, Be Active, Repeat.
In September we held relay races in all the classes.

The Active School Flag
The active school programme strives to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community. Kiltale proudly won our Active School Flag in 2016. We work hard with ‘Active Playtimes’, sport’s training, dance, fun runs and walking to keep the school community active.
